About

Hey! I'm Shania, and I've been the founder of S.Bbeautyy since 2020.

When I was 16, I founded S.bbeautyy for fun and enjoyment, with a strong interest in the beauty industry! I had no idea what I was getting myself into! My lash technician at the stage inspired me and let me experiment with her equipment, and I instantly fell in love. I told my mum how thrilled I was to do eyelashes and that I wasn't going to stop pleading with her. A few weeks later on my 16th birthday, she surprised me with an Eyelash Extension course and our spare room was emptied of everything but a cheap massage bed and stool. I had no idea where to begin!  In the beginning, I had only planned on doing friends' eyelashes for dance competitions; I had no plans of actually creating social media accounts, welcoming random people, or training and selling my lash products.   I was fortunate to have many close friends and family members who supported me and allowed me to try something new. After a few months, I began making friendships with other lash artists and gaining more knowledge as a result of this experience. During this time, I was in year 11 of high school and working as a trainee at KFC. I was working 3-4 shifts a week around school, as well as 4 to 9 p.m. every other afternoon lashing people and growing my clientele. I was quite busy and had no idea how nicely things were going. As I already stated, I had no idea what I was getting myself into and had no life aspirations other than obtaining a Lash Certificate.  I was juggling two jobs, school, and relationships when year 12 arrived. I wasn't seeing my friends as much because I was working every afternoon, which made me feel more determined and focused. However, my two jobs began to conflict, and I began to be scheduled quite far in advance within my business, and I eventually had to cancel all of my shifts most weeks since I was fully booked for the weeks ahead. That's when I realized I'd had enough of KFC. I was relieved to start lashing full-time after three years at KFC. I remember how excited I was to be scheduled back-to-back all day every day the week before reality set in. I was working back-to-back appointments every day from 9 am to 5 pm with some Saturdays thrown in, since then, 2 weeks after school concluded in November 2021. 2022 began, I completed all of my weekend appointments and wrote down all of my hopes and goals. I'm loving every step of this adventure as I strive towards my goals, and I have the best clients who are always there for me. I've learn’t to disregard other people's opinions, never give up, practice constantly, and trust the process.

At the beginning of 2022, I began training young, strong-minded girls to create their own businesses as successful lash artists while still underage.

I started with two girls per month, from my regulars who were inspired by such a young lash tech and who had a lot of questions, and my name started going out to other girls who were wanting to kick start their career earlier. This has to be the most rewarding part of my journey, guiding girls who share the same ambition to achieve great things in the future at such a young age. I have enjoyed every minute of assisting them in building a clientele and achieving techniques and talents to create a future they can succeed in.

As my training classes expanded and I became busier.

I am fortunate to be able to train a student once a week, which means double stock and double work. As my stock orders increased in quantity, they became bulk! It was difficult to keep up with students messaging me for extra glue, trays, tape, and so on after placing an order. I gradually began selling products to previous students completing pick-ups/drop-offs, and it quickly escalated. This inspired me to create my own lash line!! It only made sense because I was constantly adding more stock to each order I was making, and figuring out how much of everything I had was becoming too difficult. Starting a lash line is more difficult than it appears.

Oh, I wish it were that simple, but fast forward 8 months and WE ARE HERE!!!

To ensure the success of your eyelash extension company, you must only use high-quality extensions. Strong extensions will be long-lasting, impressive, and low in weight. Low-quality extensions are heavier and may cause unnecessary harm to your client's lashes. As a lash technician, you should prioritise the health of your client's natural lashes. When it comes to eyelash extensions, it is essential to choose items that are both suitable for your lash style and of excellent quality. Never try to save money by decreasing the quality of your eyelash extensions, adhesive, and equipment, since this will affect the client's lash retention and look, which you and your clients will notice! Our short stem pre-made volume fans provide the same time-saving and volume-boosting benefits as any other pre-made fans. They do, however, have a shorter base and a broader fan, giving them a softer, fluffier appearance. Our glue adhesive is named after the results as it's a GAME CHANGER to your business. Receiving fast setting time of 1 second with retention power lasting up to 6 weeks. Our Cream Remover is specifically designed for easy application and fast removal including a gentle formula for sensitive eyes. Creating our tweezer's design was the most amazing part of it all! By choosing high-quality eyelash extensions and products, you will have satisfied clients who will be loyal to you as a lash specialist, and your business will thrive!
